We have a unique opportunity to come onboard and join the HR Team with a broad lens, encompassing all areas of HR, delivering a robust, and best in class HR business partnering service to all the key business functions.

JOB TITLE: HR Business Partner
REPORTING TO: HR Director
DEPARTMENT: HR
LOCATION: Alconbury, Huntingdon

In a nutshell, we would like you to:

– Partner with the MM Flowers teams providing guidance on effectively leading, managing and supporting their teams
– Deliver a high quality, professional and valued HR service to the MM Flowers business
– Ensure that the HR service delivered, drives business results and supports the business strategy
– Provide advice and support to all managers on a day to day basis, on all ER issues including investigations, disciplinaries, grievance, performance and absence issues
– Assist and implement tools to aid staff retention, identify problem areas within the organisation and provide suitable solutions
– Be a key member of the team, driving the people agenda including talent management, performance discussions and development
– Continue to support and evolve the development of company policies and procedures, ensuring legal and best practice compliance
– Initiating and implementing key HR projects to support the delivery of the business strategy
– Support the delivery of strong, brilliant basics relating to our people data, processes and systems

To do that you will need to:

– Be a credible source of best practice advise and solutions
– CIPD Qualified or working towards
– Have outstanding levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
– Be passionate about delivering best practice, and be able to demonstrate resilience and courage in achieving results
– Able to evidence achievements of delivering successful initiating and implementing key change business projects
– Highly developed influencing skills, and able to engage at all levels of the organisation
– Have a positive, can do attitude
– Have experience of coordinating and contributing to audits (e.g BOPP, SMETA)
– Have experience of managing within a 7days a week operation

What you will already do:

– Have experience and evidence of working at pace and taking accountability for decision making
– Be self–motivated and committed to providing excellent levels of customer service
– Have knowledge of modern slavery, ETI Base code and ethical considerations
– Be commercially aware and able to demonstrate delivery of advice which best suits the needs of the business
– Be a competent user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
– Demonstrate consistent outstanding role modelling behaviours

This is a broad and exciting role, and as it's within manufacturing you need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved, and that means you will be happy to get on your high vis and protective footwear on.
