We are currently exclusively partnering with an exciting, innovative and expanding housebuilder in their search for a a Group Operations Director.

This role will be a varied one and cover many aspects but your primary responsibility will involve the day to day management of the Commercial Director, Technical Director and Construction Director, supporting the Directors to develop and deliver the business strategy. This will include:

Support and at times lead both the Sales and Pre–Contracts teams during client pitches and meetings
Oversee project hand–over stage ensuring a smooth transfer from pre–contract to contract phase ensuring contracts are watertight and exchanged in a timely manner.
Responsible for overseeing each project which will include the programme and delivery of each project in accordance with the schedule of works and contractual obligations.
Monitor the selection and appointment of sub–contractors and consultants.
Ensure business procedures and systems are adhered to and promote business values.
Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage team
The ideal Group Operations Director will:

Have minimum of 3 years experience operating at a similar level (Operations Director / Managing Director / Regional Director / Production Director)
Be a strong negotiator with a strategic mind–set
Be a natural leader who is both charismatic and astute
Hold a Construction/ Engineering/ Project Management related degree or diploma
Hold a valid UK driving licence
